Skylstad Family Haven

This property offers 47 one bedroom, two bedroom and three bedroom units.

All 47 units are subject to the Federal Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) eligibility requirements.

· Applicant referrals are provided by Room One, Okanogan Housing Authority, Department of State and Health Services (DSHS), and other community resources such as The School District.

· Management will schedule a formal interview with the household where a full application will be completed and all items will be discussed and confirmed, verification forms will be signed by the members authorizing Management to verify all of these items. Until all items are verified, eligibility cannot be determined, nor any housing offered.

Special Needs Commitment for Homeless households has been designated on 50% of the WSHFC units (12 units).

Homeless with families at this property is defined as I/We are:

(1) without housing and live on the streets, in a car, non-residential building, etc., or

(2) without housing and spend nights in a shelter, institution or temporary housing, or

(3) staying with another family (for less than 30 days) and there are not enough beds for everyone, or

(4) at risk of losing housing due to: eviction, sale of housing, loss of income, or other crisis, or

(5) live in substandard housing as determined by a licensed housing inspector.
